Dumebi Samantha Agbakoba Born Lagos, Nigeria Nationality Nigerian Occupation Editor in Chief, Creative Director, Events planner Dumebi Agbakoba (born December 1, 1983), was brought up in Lagos, Nigeria and then moved to England where she began her studies at Rye St Antony in Oxford and later moved back to London in 2008 to start her career in Fashion and Magazine Publishing.

Biography
Early life
Dumebi Agbakoba was raised by her parents Olisa Agbakoba, a human rights activist and former Nigerian Bar Association President and Maritime Lawyer and Lilian, a lawyer and Realtor. She is a graduate of University of Plymouth and University of the Arts, London where she studied Business Administration and Fashion Business.
Good will work and fashion
At 22, she decided to set up a non-governmental organisation (NGO) www.dosumthing.org aimed at uniting Nigerians and channelling their collective efforts towards the socio-economic development of Nigeria. After setting up the Do Sumthing Positive for Africa project, she decided to develop her creative talents through fashion and arts.

Dumebi is also the editor of Side View Magazine. Side View Magazine is an international magazine, which is currently distributed in many countries including London, USA, Nigeria, Ghana and has featured one on one interviews with top celebrities, artists, designers and models round the world. Side View has featured creatives such as TV Personality and Creative Director on America's Next Top Model and Judge on Canada's Next Top Model Jay ManuelInternational Supermodel and Project Catwalk Season 2 contestant Ojy Okpe, Britain's Next Top Model judge, Reality TV Star and Actress LisaRaye McCoy-Misick and Hat Milliner Louis Mariette, British/Nigerian actors Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Hakeem Kae-Kazim and International artists such as Rhona Bennett of En Vogue, P Square, Jude Abaga a.k.a Mr Incredible and more.
Events
In October 2008, Do Sumthing Positive for Africa (DSPA) hosted a charity ball to create awareness and raise funds for the 'Feed a Child' Campaign. We received support from Family, friends, musicians and young volunteers who also participated in the talent and fashion show. The proceeds received by DSPA were donated to the Friends of the Disabled Charity, a project also supported by Global Giving Uk. The Fashion show featured many talented designers including Baruch, Botilam, Esther's bags, Samantha Cole and Yetty D who is currently the DSPA Youth Ambassador. The ball was co-hosted by Samata Angel and Ada Ogunkeye.
She is currently working on the an annual awards ceremony produced by The Bulb Ideas Group under the SideView Magazine brand. The 1st Annual SideView Style Awards will be hosted by Nigeria's No. 1 Urban Television & Radio personality Illrymz
