Mimoides ilus is a species of butterfly in the family Papilionidae. It is commonly known as the Ilus Swallowtail and the Dual-spotted Swallowtail. It is found from Mexico to Colombia and Venezuela.[1][2] Little is known about this rare butterfly, but it is not considered threatened.[3] The larvae of M. i. branchus feed on Annotata reticulata.[4]
