Pailla Malla Reddy Born Sunkishala, Nalgonda district Nationality Indian, New York Occupation Chairman, Bactolac Pharmaceutical Pailla Malla Reddy is an Indian American businessman who was born in a village known as Sunkishala, Nalgonda, A.P. in India[1] . He came from a poor family and worked very hard to become an entrepreneur in the pharmaceutical industry. He is now the owner and CEO of Bactolac Pharmaceuticals, Atlantic Essential Products Inc , and ScieGen Pharmaceuticals located in Happague, NY and CEO of InvaGen Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Education
Dr Reddy has completed school education at ZPHS. Dr. Reddy has obtained BS dgree in chemistry with a specialization of genetics and botany from Osmania University and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Kanpur University.[2][3] He obtained the national citizenship of India award from H. D. Deve Gowda former prime minister of India.
Personal Life
Dr Reddy is married to Sadhana Reddy and has two children, Shilpa and Saketh Reddy. He is the son of Pailla Sathi Reddy and Pailla Radhamma, and has 7 siblings. He currently lives in Brookville, NY. He is a huge supporter of the Telugu community both in India and in the United States.
Career
Dr Reddy has more than 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field. During his early years, he worked for pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria, Africa and Westbury, New York. He started Bactolac Pharmaceutical in 1995 operating in a 5,000 square feet (460 m2) area in Westbury, New York and over time expanded that into a 300,000 square feet (28,000 m2) company in Happague, NY. Along with Bactolac Pharmaceutical, Dr Reddy is also President and CEO of Atlantic Essential Products Inc and ScieGen Pharmaceutical Companies. Dr Reddy is also one of the founders and Chief Executive Officer of InvaGen Pharmaceuticals Inc, New York.[4]. His companies have expanded into Russia as well.
Social Service
More than his success in the pharmaceutical field, he is known for his generous philanthropy. He donates at least 10 per cent of his income every year to various charities and organizations. To date he has given more than Rs 10 crores donation for the construction of roads, high-school, school for the blind,marriage hall, junior college, temples, primary health care and community centre and more. He has also contributed more than Rs 1 crore to the Indo-American Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad. He has donated Rs. 2 crores for construction of the Venkateswara Government Junior College in Nalgonda.[5][6]
