Dr. Girish Bihari (Born 5 March 1938) is an Indian educationist and a retired Indian Police Service (IPS) officer. He joined the IPS in 1961, and held the post of Director General of Police, of the State of Uttar Pradesh (INDIA) during the period 12.08.1995 to 31.03.1996. [1]. He retired from the IPS in March, 1996. Dr.Bihari died on 29 April,2009.
