Aggarwala is a Senior Additional Advocate General of Haryana and Additional Advocate General of State Punjab. He serves as Senior Central Government Counsel in the Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court. Aggarwala is also Chairman of All India Bar Association(AIBA),[1] convener of Indian Council of Jurists, Chairman of India Legal Information Institute[2] and Secretary General of All India Senior Advocates Association.[citation needed]
He was the youngest elected Vice Chairman of the Bar Council of India.[3]
In 2009, Aggarwala authored the book Constitution of India. The President of India Pratibha Devisingh Patil received the book at a special function at the Rastrapati Bhawan. The Chief Justice of India K.G. Balakrishnan contributed its foreword. Its preface was written by Minister of Law and Justice M. Veerappa Moily.[4]
