Design specifics
The Dormoy Suit is constructed of a Rodler diagonal wool fabric. The attire is formal wear in style, dark blue in color, and features diagonal lines throughout. The single reverse on the Dormoy jacket appears to swing from left to right. The collar of the jacket fastens on the left. The seaming and stitching on the collar embellish the look of the design. Designer's exile
Marcelle Dormoy remained with Jean Patou in Biarritz prior to returning to Paris, France following the German occupation of France during World War II.[3]
