Donald May

Donald May (born February 22, 1929) is an American actor best known for replacing Wayde Preston as the lead in the 1957 television series Colt .45. May played "Sam Colt, Jr.," cousin to Preston's character Christopher Colt, and the program ran on the BBC under the title The Colt Cousins. May also appeared in various films and TV shows between 1956 and 1993, including Hawaiian Eye, Sugarfoot, Cheyenne, 77 Sunset Strip, The Tenderfoot (1964) for Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, Surfside 6, Follow Me, Boys!, Bus Stop, The Dukes of Hazzard, and L.A. Law. He was a regular on the 1960-1962 series The Roaring Twenties. He also appeared in soap operas, including The Edge of Night, in his most popular role as lawyer Adam Drake from 1967–1977, One Life to Live and Texas.
