Docufree’s Box Scanning service can scan high-volumes of archived documents at once or, businesses can pack and ship boxes of documents for scanning as needed. Each box of documents is converted into text-searchable digital images and stored to an online account. Customers can log-on to track the status of their scanning project and view document images as they are converted while getting an online storage solution for documents so they are always readily available from anywhere.
The company was founded in 1999 as InnoSource Business Solutions and began offering office services for copy and mail room management. From 2000 through 2005, the company opened an office in Houston, Texas, launched their document scanning and imaging services, and introduced outsourcing services for mail rooms and document imaging.
In 2006, the company released Docufree On-Demand, a web-based document storage and retrieval application. In 2007 and 2008, the company opened a New York location and was announced as one of the fastest growing private companies in America by Inc. Magazine.[1] Docufree On-Demand also received CompTIA's SoftwareCEO award for Most Innovative Small and Medium Sized Infrastructure Software.[2] In October 2008, the company changed its name to Docufree while InnoSource Office Solutions became a division of Docufree, providing on-site mail room and copy center services. In 2010, Docufree completed the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) program.
