Discovery Gardens (DG) is a residential community located in Jebel Ali, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The community is composed of residential apartment units of different styles such as Contemporary, Zen, Moghul etc..

Recreation

The community is gifted with recreational facilities like basketball/tennis court, swimming pools and kids play area. Swimming pools are ready but not opened yet.

Travel

The community is served with bus service by RTA.

Bus Routes: F43: Ibn Battuta Mall Metro Station -->Discovery Gardens --> Ibn Battuta Mall Metro Station.

Operates in a 10 to 15 minute frequency.

Nearest Metro Station:
Ibn Battuta Mall Metro station is the nearest metro rail station. The Ibn Battuta Mall Metro Station was opened on 30th April 2010.

The second option is Nakheel metro rail station (which is distance wise closer). Nakheel station has a huge parking for about 5000 cars[citation needed].

Shopping

Ibn Battuta Mall, is the major shopping mall located near the residential community and residents can either commute through walk or through RTA bus service.


Prayer

Mosque

Mosques are located at walkable distance which offer the resident with prayer facilities. The mosques are spacious to accommodate daily and weekly prayers and also consists of ablution and drinking water facilities. Adequate parking facility near the mosques caters to the residents who come to the mosque.

Church

St. Francis Xavier Church, Jebel Ali

The St. Francis of Assisi church was inaugurated in November 2001 as part of the Vicarate of Arabia, presently pastored by Bishop Paul Hinder. It is a parish composed of many nationalities from around the world. The church is situated just off of Sheikh Zayed road beside the village of Jebel Ali in the emirate of Dubai. It is easily accessible from The Gardens/Ibn Battuta mall and from the Jebel Ali village interchanges.

Parking

The residents are provided with adequate surface parking lots around the apartment buildings and in addition are provided with a large parking lot to accommodate additional parking.
