KolkataNationality Indian Occupation Development consultant 'Dipankar Saha' has served as Experienced Scientist cum Manager over three decades on coastal resources management. Ph.D in Fisheries Science from University of Calcutta, India. Awarded Fellowship of The Zoological Society ,Kolkata.[1]
24 years managerial experience in ICAR’s (Government of India) KVK system(1980–2004) , as a Team leader (Training Organiser) (1986–2004) of 16 member multidisciplinary Scientists team of Ramkrishna Ashram Krishi Vigyan Kendra , Nimpith, Sundarban, INDIA
Assigned by IFAD (UN), FAO(UN), UNDP on coastal studies, project development and evaluation.
Presently persuading national and International consultancy in the sectors of Aquaculture, Livelihood and East Calcutta Wetlands management.
Experienced resource manager on Aquaculture, Agriculture[2] and Rural Development with special reference to participatory technology development in coastal Sundarbans. Experienced Trainer in Communication and Extension Management for Agricultural Scientists, Managers of Agriculture, Rural & Urban Development and Social Development Planners. A mentor in Livelihood development and Food Security of ultra poor community in Coastal ecosystem. Managed a range of portfolios and International ( GIFRID ) projects on development research and implementation.
