Dilys M. Rees, Mrs. Craven, OBE is a Welsh-born Australian paediatrician.Born, raised and educated in Wales, Dilys Rees became the senior visiting specialist in paediatrics at the Adelaide Children's Hospital, beginning in 1951. Three years later she became the senior visiting specialist in paediatrics at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, also in Adelaide, South Australia. She completed her MD at the University of Adelaide in 1966.[1]
She retired from medical practice in 1984, but retained her links with area hospitals as Emeritus Physician.

World War II service
During World War II, she served as Captain in the Royal Army Medical Corps (UK) (1944–45) and was in Europe on active service with the British Army of the Rhine (1945–47)[2]

She was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (1981) "for her services to medicine and paediatrics".

She married David Craven in 1950; they have two daughters.
