Club career
He made his first team debut against Piacenza on 21 August 2009. On his first season as a professional player, at 19 years old, he became a regular and obtained 30 appearances and 1 goal in the Serie B league.
On 31 August 2010, Udinese signed Gabriele Angella along with Fabbrini in co-ownership deal for undisclosed fees. As part of the deal, Ricardo Chará and Flavio Lazzari joined Empoli, also in co-ownership deal.[1] While Fabbrini would spent in 2010-11 season with Empoli.
Fabbrini returned to Udine in 2011–12 season and made his competitive debut on 24 August 2011, the second leg against Arsenal at home, replacing attacking midfielder Giampiero Pinzi and got yellow card at 88min in the same game.
On 31 August Udinese bought the remain 50% registration rights from Empoli and Daniele Mori in co-ownership deal, also from Empoli. [2] On 25 September 2011 he made his Serie A debut, in the away match against Cagliari.
International career
He made his debut with the Italy U-21 on 3 September 2010 in a qualification match against Bosnia Herzegovina played in Sarajevo. He scored his first goal with the U-21 on 24 March 2011, in a friendly against Sweden.
