Diamond is a Nintendo Entertainment System video game released in an unknown year by Nice Code Software, a company which produces games for plug and play game systems based around NES-on-a-chip hardware, as well as generic 16 and 32-bit hardware.

Diamond is a clone of the NES version of Taito's Arkanoid, which replicates the first 6 levels of the original game. However, Diamond presents different ball psychics, as well as different color layouts and a music loop which plays through the entire game (as opposed to the short musics heard on the original game). Also, unlike the original game, the objective is not breaking all the blocks, but reaching the diamond located in the upper side of the screen. This Arkanoid clone can also be found often on NES clones which come with built-in games.

VT03 version

A version of this game exists running on VT03 hardware (essentially NES hardware but with an improved color palette allowing for better graphic capabilities).[2] The VT03 version (which was produced by Waixing)[3] has better graphics but ignores the diamonds, settling for a gameplay identical to Arkanoid instead.
