Early life
Sean was born and raised in Huntington Station, Long Island, New York. He started getting interested in Hip-Hop when he was listening to his older brothers Hip-Hop tapes, listening to artists such as N.W.A and Black Sheep when he was six years old. When Sean was in his early teens, he was interested in graffiti and writing his own lyrics. In the year 1999, Sean's friend Abe picked him up from work and they went to his apartment. Abe asked Sean if wanted to battle at that night in Manhattan and Sean accepted to go. They went to the Wetlands and a woman there didn't want Diabolic to battle, so Sean went to her partner, Poison Pen and he allowed Sean to battle.
One day, fellow rapper Lou Cipher asked Sean if he could be in a song that another rapper requested. Sean accepted the request. The rapper was called Immortal Technique. The song was meant to feature Sean himself, Immortal Technique, Lou Cipher, Manifest, Icon The Mic King and Awar on a song called 'You're Nothing' but this song never fully released. However, Immortal Technique used Diabolic's verse only and his own which became the hidden track after 'Dance With The Devil'.
In 2003, Immortal Technique was touring nationally and Sean supported him. Sean was working on his debut album entitled Liar & A Thief and found a producer in Vancouver named Engineer. They worked heavily together and released Liar & A Thief.
