Dharapuram taluk is a taluk of Tirupur district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters of the taluk is the town of Dharapuram

Population

According to the 2001 census, the taluk of Dharapuram had a population of 278,783 with 139,509 males and 139,274 females. There were 998 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 65.97. The total number of households was 77,871.
