Devar Yamjal is a village in Ranga Reddy District, Andhra Pradesh, India. It falls under Shamirpet mandal.[1] The village is one of the biggest villages in the mandal.
The village is home to an ancient temple of Lord Ram. The Indian Air Force has its Helicopter training institute in the village.

This village is the largest among all the other villages in both population as wells as in its area among all in the mandal. Its proximity to both NH-7 and Rajiv Rahadari (SH-1), the village abridges both the thoroughfares for the transporters. People in this village are respectable, cordial and live with harmony.
currently the major political parties which are active in the village are congress and TDP. Congress is in power as of now since 2006. many a families are agrarian based ones and the workforce generally commute to twin cities to eke out their living everyday.
The village has an oldest LORD RAMA temple and every year FETE/ FAIR is done during april/may immediately after srirama navami. People do celebrate with enthusiasm vinayaka chavithi and many a ganesh pandals are raised with lord ganesh Idols and will be immersed after 9 to 21 days in the POND. The village is also famous for may grape orchards which serve many consumers every season.The village is well versed will every facility the people need and also renowned for its school which serve kids from nearby villages too. A modest library, Veterinary hospital, huge water tank, oldest shiva and rama temple are the ICONS of the village.
