Derek Brady Trophy Region Asia Pacific (Asian GAA) Website http://www.asiancountyboard.com/asian-gaelic-games/the-derek-brady-trophy 2009–10 Derek Brady Trophy The Derek Brady Trophy is an annual Gaelic Games cup competition held in the Asia Pacific region. The Asian County Board operate the competition, which draws teams from all over Asian regions such as Vietnam, Singapore and even China.
Etymology
The cup was commissioned by the family of respected overseas gaelic footballer Derek Brady, featuring for Taiwan in particular. The cup is from Cavan crystal and is a perfect replica of the famed Irish Gaelic Football cup, Sam Maguire Cup.[1]
Brady graduated from Dublin City University with an honors degree in international marketing.[1]
