International honours
Dennis Hartley won a cap for England while at Castleford in 1968 against Wales, and won caps for Great Britain while at Hunslet in 1964 against France (2 matches), while at Castleford in 1968 against France, in 1969 against France, in 1970 against Australia (2 matches), New Zealand (2 matches), and in the 1970 Rugby League World Cup against Australia, France and Australia.[1]
Challenge Cup final appearances
Dennis Hartley played in Hunslet's 16-20 defeat to Wigan in the 1964–65 Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on 8 May 1965, and played Loosehead-Prop, i.e. number 8, in Castleford’s 11-6 victory over Salford in the 1968–69 Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on 17 May 1969,[2] and the 7-2 victory over Wigan in the 1969–70 Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on 9 May 1970.[3]

Dennis Hartley is a Tigers Hall Of Fame Inductee.[4]
