On the night of the final Seebach and Cameron performed 6th in the running order, following Israel and preceding Yugoslavia. Cameron's performance came in for some criticism after the show, both for her strange choice of outfit and for a rather untidy and frantically choreographed dance routine, which seemed rather at odds with the lyrics of a song which many felt would have benefitted from a much simpler and less distracting presentation. At the close of voting "Krøller eller ej" had received 41 points (including a maximum 12 from Belgium), placing Denmark 11th of the 20 entries. The Danish jury awarded its 12 points to Ireland.[2]
