Jade Burton (vocals)Defryme are an Australian funk metal band from Melbourne, Victoria. They formed in 1989 in the Melbourne suburb of Frankston.[1] Their album Pure Killer reached #4 on the Australian album charts in May 1994.[1][2] They had four charting singles, "God Inside A Man" which reached #51,[3][4] their cover of L.L. Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out" #38,[3] "Pure Killer" #70 and "Sanity" #57.[2] Defryme reformed in 2010 with the release of the single 'Sup?'.
