Bastion

Bastion[5] is an Application Protocol Firewall that acts as an intermediary for data flowing between internal and external networks or networks that do not share a common level of trust. Certified to CC EAL4 standard.[6]

DeepSecure

DeepSecure[7][8] provides policy based content verification management for data flowing between security domains. DeepSecure supports security label policies using X.841 labels, FLOT labels and Subject line labels.. The capability includes being able to checking encrypted or signed data content.[9] DeepSecure has been evaluated to CC EAL4 [10] and has been selected in major military procurement projects.[11][12]

History

Deep-Secure Limited, formerly operating as the Specialist Products Division of Clearswift , has undergone a management buy-in (MBI) in a £3.5 million all-share deal backed by venture capital firm YFM in December 2009.[13] The YFM-managed Chandos Fund and British Smaller Companies VCTs 1 and 2 all backed the deal, through which software entrepreneur Richard Beaton became chairman of Deep-Secure with Miles Clee as CEO.

In 2010 Dr Simon Wiseman joined Deep-Secure Ltd as Head of Development, bringing to the company 30 years' experience in the field of UK Government computer security. He joins from QinetiQ’s SyBard division.[14]
