Heemstra & Wright, 1986Pavoclinus smalei, known commonly as the Deep-reef klipfish in South Africa,[1] is a species of clinid in the genus Pavoclinus.[2] It is a subtropical blenny known from the Storms River in South Africa.[2] It was named by P.C. Heemstra and J.E. Wright in 1986,[3] Blennies in this species feed primarily off of zoobenthos.[4]
