Dean Whare (pronounced Fah-Reh) is a New Zealand rugby league player who currently plays for the Manly Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League. His position is at Centre.

Playing career

Whare spent his junior years with the St George-Illawarra Dragons, playing in the 2008 and 2009 Toyota Cup, before signing with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles for 2010.[1]

Whare made his NRL debut against the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville in 2010, scoring three tries, the first time a player has scored three tries in his top-grade debut for the Sea Eagles.[2]

Whare is currently playing for the Manly Sea Eagles in the New South Wales Cup.

Representative career

In 2010, Dean Whare was picked for the Junior Kiwis.[3]
