In 2007, Anthony Watmough was accused of violence towards his then de facto partner. His partner sought an apprehended violence order against him and on 26 June 2007, it was granted by Magistrate Jane Culver in Manly Court. 2007-06-26 ] However, on 25 October 2007, the AVO was removed at the de facto's request and an indefinite agreement was written up instead where the pair mutually agreed "not to go near or harass each other."
