DeMarcus Granger (born September 4, 1986) is an American football defensive tackle who is currently a free agent.
DeMarcus is cousin of Indiana Pacers NBA player Danny Granger[1]

Early years
Granger born to Debra Granger, a Mexican restaurant manager on September 4, 1986. During his High School career, Granger was a standout defensive player from Kimball High School in the Dallas Area. He was named Dallas Morning News Defensive Player of the Year in 2003 and 2004 and The Dallas Area Defensive Player of the Year as a junior.[1]
He was rated the No. 1 defensive tackle in the country by ESPN.com. He committed to Oklahoma on January 30, 2005.[2]
College career
Granger played at Oklahoma from 2006–09.[3]
In December 2007, he was arrested for shoplifting.[4]
Professional career
On April 24, 2010, he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks, but was waived on May 27, 2010.[5]
