The Very Rev David Jonathan Rees Lean (known as Jonathan;[1] born 29 May 1952) is the current Dean of St David's.
He was born in Fishguard[2] on 29 May 1952, educated at St Davids University College, Lampeter and the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield and ordained in 1976.[3] He began his career as Curate at Tenby after which he was Vicar of the grouped parishes of Llanrhian, Llanhowell and Llanrheithan [4] and then St Martin's, Haverfordwest. Fom 2000 until his elevation to the Deanery he was a Canon Residentiary at St David's Cathedral.
