List of Marilyns in Wales
- List of Marilyns in Wales
This is a list of the 156 Marilyns in Wales. It was originally published in "The Relative Hills of Britain" by Alan Dawson,[cite book | last=Dawson | first=Alan | year=1992 | title=The Relative Hills of Britain | url=http://bubl.ac.uk/org/tacit/marilyns/ | publisher=Cicerone Press | location=Milnthorpe, Cumbria | id=ISBN 1-85284-068-4] and is one of several popular lists of hills that include Wales.]In the parent column, the prominence parent is used, as opposed to any other definition of 'parent'. The prominence parent of peak A can be found by dividing the island or region in question into territories, by tracing the runoff from the key col of every peak that is higher than peak A. The parent is the peak whose territory peak A resides in.

Notes
fnb|1 Mynydd Rhyd ddu, Craig y Castell, Disgwylfa Fawr, Cefn Cenarth, Carn Gafallt and Mynydd Dinas have all been discovered to be Marilyns since the publication of "The Relative Hills of Britain" and are therefore not listed in the book. [cite web | url=http://www.rhb.org.uk/updates/up200604.htm | last=Dawson | first=Alan | title=Update to The Relative Hills of Britain | year=2006 | accessdate=2006-10-06]
fnb|2 Traditionally, the top of "Maen Du" (674 m at gbm4ibx|SH823152) was regarded as Maesglase's summit. However, more recent surveys suggest that the top of "Craig Rhiw-erch" ("c" 676 m at gbm4ibx|SH817150, some 600 m to the west) is higher. [cite web | url=http://www.rhb.org.uk/marhofn/marhofn49/rhbupdat.htm | last=Dawson | first=Alan | title=RHB Update | year=2000 | accessdate=2006-10-06]
fnb|3 Brandy Hill and Middleton Hill both have a height of 205 m and are separated by a "c" 40 m drop. They are collectively separated from Foel Cwmcerwyn (their parent) by a 151 m drop making one of them a Marilyn. However, without more accurate heights, it is impossible to say which is the Marilyn, making them an example of a "twin peak".
fnb|4 The Black Mountain straddles the English–Welsh border, and is therefore included on the English list too.
