David Callaham (sometimes credited as Dave Callaham) is an American film writer.

Personal life
Callaham was born in Fresno, California on October 24, 1977. He is married to Bree Tichy. They were married in 2009.[1]
Criticism
Callaham wrote films that were met with negative receptions. He's been the topic of much debate.
Career
In 2003, Callaham wrote film adaption to the video game Doom and submitted it in the summer of 2005. Around that time, he pitched the idea of The Expendables to Warner Bros. which was later handed to Sylvester Stallone and took over the project.[2] Though he's credited for story and co-writing the script, Callaham did not participate in the writing process.
On October 2010, Callaham submitted an initial first draft of Godzilla to Legendary Pictures, who plan to reboot the franchise. The script was subsequently rejected and replaced by a new draft by David S. Goyer.
Callaham is currently working with director McG on an untitled Sci-Fi Adventure film.[3]
