The Daily Connection was a news program produced by NBC News and the affiliates that aired it, it was all pre-produced reports from NBC News Channel, and other platforms of NBC including CNBC, MSNBC, The Weather Channel, & Access Hollywood. Breaking local or national news was also aired. Most of the content was also seen on one of NBC's other news programs. It featured Entertainment news, Politics, Strange News, and Health News, and gave NBC another way to put stories on the air that otherwise would end up on the editing room floor.

It started in September 2009 on WRC in Washington and was rolled out to the other stations in early October 2010, most of the stories on the Daily Connection were produced by network producers in New York city at 30 Rock and then sent to the local stations so they can retool it for their own broadcast.
The Daily Connection was last broadcast Monday July 25, 2011 after NBC News decided to pull the plug on the program.
