The DBMSs currently supported are: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

History
DaDaBIK was released the first time in 2001 on Sourceforge under the GNU General Public License by Eugenio Tacchini and worked only on MySQL.
Current status
The current last release is the 4.4 alpha (released on February 2, 2011),[1] DaDaBIK is maintained by its original author; a group of volunteers handle the translation of the front-end (available in 16 languages).[2]
Features
Some of the main features are: forms customization (e.g. labels, different types of HTML input field, content check), table-driven listbox values, master/details view, files upload, export to CSV, checking for possible duplication during insertions, authentication, authorization restrictions on view/update/delete, e-mail notices.
Popularity
DaDaBIK has been used by several big organizations like the University of Cambridge [3][4] and the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore [5] and it is one of the most popular PHP database tools.[6]
Meaning of the name
DaDaBIK is a recursive acronym which stands for DaDaBIK is a DataBase Interfaces Kreator.[7]
