DXY.cn (Chinese: 丁香园; pinyin: DīngXiāngYuán) is an online community for physicians, health care professionals, pharmacies and facilities, established on July 23, 2000 by Tiantian Li[1].

About

DXY is more of a vertical community (a type of virtual community) than a traditional social network service, where physicians can gain insight from colleagues, discuss new clinical findings, report usual events and more.The DXY.cn's Chinese name is 丁香园(Lilac Garden). The site is one of the largest online medical community worldwide with more than 2 million members (30,000 new members added every month) . [2]

It now covers more than 100 specialties. The site also includes a biomedical business information platform, a site to help professionals look for job, a pharmacy channel, a blog platform, and a conference information site.
