He has been labeled one of the most successful artists to come out of YouTube, where he has received over 100 million hits.[1] He has released three independent studio albums.
Biography
Very little is known about Rucka Rucka Ali's biography or personal life. He started his music career with Pinegrove Records and formally operated under Searchlite Music, a label started by 3rd Bass member MC Serch, but left Serchlight in 2009 and now operates exclusively with Pinegrove. He is an American and uploads his songs to Ruckasworld.com, iTunes, YouTube, Amazon, and Spotify. His debut album Straight Outta West B was released in 2009. The album was followed by the albums I'm Black, You're White & These Are Clearly Parodies and A Very Rucka Christmas, both released in 2010 and more recently "Probably Racist" (2011).
His albums have charted on the U.S. Billboard Top Comedy Albums chart, with I'm Black, You're White & These Are Clearly Parodies peaking at #6 on the chart.[2]
