He co-launch the web-based music label Dark Panties Recordings, showcasing a full range of talent in a wide variety of musical genres, with the same kind of effervescence. He is married to Sandra Jean-Bart, who is his business partner. He has two children.
For over 20 years now, Mark Anthony has been serving up his signature textured house beats, blending shake-it percussion, savvy special effects. Mark Anthony is a regular staple in clubs and special events in Montreal, all across Canada and internationally. He is focused on making music, be it original songs, remixes, or producing artists in a variety of genres. His spot-on eye for the hottest emerging sounds helped pioneer Montreal’s now world-famous house music scene. Recognized globally as a master of the turntables, Mark’s career he is an accomplished music producer and event producer, breathing new life into nightlife.
He has had a prolific presence in Montreal's Black and Blue Festival main events produced by Bad Boy Club Montréal from its first day of inception in 1991, returning for no less than 15 more times to headline the main event in 1995-2000, 2002–2004, 2006–2011, making him the most featured DJ in the renowned festival.[1] The first issue of Montreal's Nightlife Magazine in March 1999 carried Mark Anthony on its cover.[2] On its 10th anniversary, the same magazine picked Mark Anthony as one of the Top 100 that have changed Montreal nightlife.[3] He regularly DJed at Playground, Unity (Montreal) and has a regular show in Red Lite (Laval).
