Ruthless is the second studio album by American rapper Ace Hood, released June 30, 2009, on We the Best Music Group, and Def Jam Recordings, just seven months after his first album, Gutta. The album debuted at number twenty-three on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart with 19,700 copies sold in its first week.[6]

The first single of the album, "Overtime," was produced by The Runners, and features T-Pain, and Akon. The track compares the music industry as a sporting event, determined to win at all costs.[7] Schife produced the first promo single of the album, "Loco Wit the Cake", and was also featured on it. The second single is "Champion" which features Jazmine Sullivan, and Rick Ross. The third single is "Born an O.G.", featuring Ludacris. Videos were made for "Overtime", "Bout Me", "Champion", "Loco With the Cake", "Zone", and "Born an O.G".
