D. J. Kane (born 1964 in Newry, County Down) is a retired Northern Irish sportsperson. He played Gaelic football with his local club Newry Mitchels and was a member of the Down senior inter-county team from the 1980s until the 1990s. Kane captained Down to the All-Ireland title in 1994.^[1]
