Monoplex trigonus, common name the Trigonal Hairy Triton, is a species of predatory sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Ranellidae, the triton snails, triton shells or tritons.[1]

Distribution

This species is distributed in European waters, the Atlantic Ocean along Cape Verde, West Africa, Gabon, Angola, in the Caribbean Sea, Venezuela.[citation needed]

Description

The shell size varies between 21 mm and 60 mm.[citation needed]

The maximum recorded shell length is 40 mm.[2]

Habitat

Minimum recorded depth is 15 m.[2] Maximum recorded depth is 15 m.[2]
