Curtis Schweitzer is an American composer who currently lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He had attended Biola University with a Bachelor in Music Theory/Composition. He is known for writing many choral works, most likely for worship choir but he also wrote secular choral music as well. He has written a few notable orchestral works, such as his famous Fanfare Americana, which has been premirered on November 19, 2003 at the Denver Symphony orchestra. His music uses many contemporary elements and his stylings as based on other composers such as Frank Tichelli and John Williams. Along with choral and orchestral works, he has composed many pieces for piano, organ, brass ensemble, and string orchestra.
