Culcheth Railway Station is a former railway station in Culcheth, England.

History

The station opened on 1 April 1884[1] along with 6 other stations on the Wigan Junction Railways, which ran from Glazebrook West Junction to Wigan as part of the Great Central Railway.[2]

It closed on 2 November 1964 to passengers[1] and completely to freight in 1965 although the line survived as Freight only till 1968.

The station is now demolished but the site of the station is now Culcheth Linear park.
