Cuddalore taluk

Cuddalore taluk is a taluk of Cuddalore district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters of the taluk is the town of Cuddalore.

Population

According to the 2001 census, the taluk of Cuddalore had a population of 505,869 with 255,692 males and 250,177 females. There were 978 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 72.79. The total number of households was 111,576.
