The term crypto heaven (a portmanteau of "cryptography" and "heaven") refers to the use of cryptography in an e-mail and data hosting in order to obscure the content to all but the sender and the recipient.
The term was coined by CryptoHeaven.com in 2001, when the organization began providing a secure and encrypted e-mail service and encrypted data storage system. Today, most e-mail clients such as Microsoft Office Outlook, Outlook Express and Kmail include facilities to send/receive encrypted e-mail, however few services provide such encrypted data hosting services.
