ABOUT CRESCENT
The education at CAI is very much similar to public school around the world. Crescent Academy teaches student regular courses along with religious ones. Since, CAI focuses on elementary and middle school education, they adapt these courses to fit the age group required. Many teachers apply for jobs here, both christian and muslims. they believe to teach best of eman to all students; using 6-7 units: wow, when, where, who, how, why.(not in order). The educational approach of Crescent Academy emphasizes the education of the “total person.” Our school strives to educate young men and women to become well developed spiritually, morally, intellectually, physically, interpersonally, culturally and socially. they encourage students to explore and grow in their knowledge of themselves and the creations of Almighty God (Allah), hoping to inspire a generation of young men and women who are firmly in touch with themselves, their heritage as Muslims and their role and responsibilities in contemporary society. Students at Crescent Academy are considered very special young people, not because of who they are, but how they are. Integrity, honesty, industry, cooperation, enthusiasm, responsibility, appreciation, service, and faith are the principles that guide our endeavor. they participate in projects to help people around the world.Crescent Academy International (CAI) is a private, college preparatory Islamic school. The school currently enrolls over 400 students from age 18 months (Montessori Daycare) to Grade 8.
Founded on the vision of a handful of far-sighted Muslim professionals devoted to the education of Muslim children, plans began in 1989 to establish Crescent Academy. The goal of this organization is to help meet the educational and spiritual needs of Muslim children growing up in America. After several years of planning and development, the school opened its doors in September, 1991 and shortly thereafter moved into its new $2.4 million school facility. The school is located on an attractive ten-acre site in a quiet suburban setting conducive to quality education.
Over the years, Crescent Academy has been blessed with steady growth and progress. Both locally and nationally, Crescent Academy International has developed a reputation as one of the premiere Islamic schools in North America. Currently, the school completed a $9 million expansion project that provides an additional 68,000 sq. ft. of facilities to our students and staff.they believe that they can look forward to many years of continued development and success
