  • In 2011, Coventry Local Schools conducted a plan to shut down a school, and to rearrange the grades in the 4 remaining schools. Lakeview Elementary School had it's last school year in 2010-2011. Plans to remodel Coventry High School opened up the opportunity to bring the freshman class up from Coventry Jr. High School and into the high school from then on. Multiple renovations and changes were applied to the high school to make it suitable for 900+ students in the summer of 2011. Coventry High School now trends the "classic" 9-12 classes and continues to keep it that way.
