Corvina Nielsen is an American gospel recording artist. Nielsen began her music career in 2002 after she released her first album Your Wonderful Love. She released her sophomore album Testimony to Worship in 2009 after 6 years.

Corvina has lent her vocal talent to many projects and has been featured on numerous of albums for others. One project had been featured on New York City’s popular radio program 98.7 kiss FM Gospel on Sunday Mornings. She has been described as the Nightingale of the New Millennium. Corvina praises God for allowing her to move into Ministry, and for a vision to uplift and heal the brokenhearted.

Early life

Corvina is originally from North Carolina; she moved to Mt. Vernon, New York and joined the Macedonia Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Richard H. Dixon Jr., where she found her roots in Gospel music. Corvina has gained valuable singing experience with opportunities to perform at the famed Carnegie Hall where she sang with Yolanda Adams. Corvina also appeared on NBC’s Today Show and has traveled across the United States. She has also performed for thousands at the awes pious Hampton Ministerial Alliance (Annual Conference) in Hampton, Virginia.

Music career

2002-2008

In 2002 Corvina released her debut album Your Wonderful Love. She wrote and produced several songs on the album. This album featured the song title "Your Wonderful Love." Between 2003-2006 even though Corvina hasn't recorded any music she still sung in her church's choir. In 2007 her church choir recorded an album where she lead 2 songs, one that she wrote titled, "Psalms 91". In 2008 Corvina finally returned and did a Live Recording at the church that would be her 2nd album.

2009-2010

On September 29, 2009, Corvina released her sophomore album Testimony to Worship. It features her two singles "Believe" and "Atmosphere." It also features a remix to "Psalms 91." This project is born out of the experiences of her personal test and trials, which compels her to share her testimony through songs of praise and worship. It promises to bring forth an anointed word to those who need to hear from God. Her prayer is that her songs deliver a powerful healing to those who are sick and downtrodden. Corvina hopes that people are uplifted and changed for the better after sharing in her ministry.

2011-present

As of now, Corvina is back in the studio recording her upcoming Holiday album titled Celebrate the Son.

Personal life

Corvina is married to her husband of 18 years and together they share the blessing of their Daughter and son. Family and Motherhood is the most important calling upon her life. They now reside in New England and are dedicated and active disciples of a local church. Corvina has been blessed to share her powerful God given music ministry with many people throughout the country.
