First Team

The Corrib Celtic 1st team for this season (2010/11) will play in the Galway & District League First Division following a very successful campaign the year previous. They hope to return to the heights of the 05/06 season when they were challenging for Premier Division honours following promotion from the 1st division in the 04/05 season.

Season 09/10

Season 09/10 can be branded a successful year for all in the club, including the Corrib Celtic 1st team who had a brilliant season also. Having excelled in both the cup and league, it has been a very successful year for the Corribsiders 1st team. After much confusion the 1st team got promoted from the Galway & District League Second Division following East United 2-1 win against Tuam Celtic, Corrib Celtic clinched promotion in 2nd place, a point behind East Utd who won the title. Along with that, they excelled in the Irish Cup, only to lose out to a better Nenagh United side on the day. The team also made huge progress in the Michael Byrne Cup, making it all the way to the semi-final, the best result en-route was undoubtedly the 4-3 victory away to Salthill Devon prior to playing Corrib Rangers in the Semi-Final. All in all it has been an absolutely fantastic season for this club and well done to all involved.

Season 10/11

Season 10/11 is currently underway with the Corrib Celtic 1st team taking part in the Galway & District League First Division.

4B Team (Second team)

The Corrib Celtic second team for this season (2011/12) will play in Division 4B of Galway & District League.

Season 10/11

In what can be branded as another very good season for the 2C team, they made it to their respective league cup final only to lose out to St.Bernards in Terryland Park. On the league front, the team came third behind champions Barna and second place Foundation.

Underage

Corrib Celtic underage players take part in the Galway & District League. In the 2002/3 season the club's Under 12 team won the Divisional Cup Final against Corofin United F.C.. The same team continued their success the following years. In the 2007/8 season, the clubs Under 18 side won the Connacht Under 18 Shield while both the U14's and U13's reached the finals of their respective League Cups in Terryland Park. The 2008/9 season saw the U13 side come within a point of Salthill Devon F.C. to win the 'A' league title, they went on that year to win the League Cup Final in Terryland Park. This upcoming season (2010/11), the club have teams in U11,U12,U13,U14,U15,U16 & u18 underage leagues.

Season 09/10

Season 09/10 has undoubtedly been one of the most successful years in Corrib Celtics brief underage history. The club had been in contention for club of the year however that accolade fell to Oughterard F.C. A total haul of four underage cups have been won and the club were unlucky not to win three more along with that. The u11's clinched the 1st division cup at the expense of Colmanstown United F.C in a thrilling final in Terryland Park. Some days previous the u12 won there 1st division cup final too, this time Cregmore Claregway F.C were to opposition and Corrib came out on top after a thrilling penalty shoot-out. The u16's also tasted cup success after a fine team performance, they beat Cregmore Claregalway F.C 3-0 in a sun drenched Mervue. The u15 arguably achieved the best feat in the club this year by winning the u15 Premier League title, shrugging off stiff opposition from Mervue Utd, Salthill Devon and Corofin Utd along way, this was a magnificent achievement for the club to win a Premier Division title.

Season 10/11

Season 2010/2011 for the Corrib Celtic underage teams failed to live up to the heights of the previous season. On the cup front, the u16 squad made it to the Connacht u16 Shield final where they were unlucky to lose on the day. No other team in the club made it to a Cup final however the u15 squad got to the Premier cup Semi-final, beating Salthill Devon along the way but losing out to Moyne Villa on penalties in Headford. On the league scene, the u11s finished off the year as deserved league champions after winning a playoff to decide the champion of Division 1. Our u12s also came within a point of becoming Division 2 champions, narrowly pipped by Ramblers in the end. Our 18s also came second in their respective division, as Knocknacara proved a step too far for them. It could have so easily have been another extremly successful season for the Corrib Celtic underage teams, but they did the club proud playing some fantastic football a long the way and well done again to the u11s.

Academy

The Corrib Celtic Academy for the younger members of the club (u10 and younger) was set up in 2009 and runs in the Corrandulla National School grounds on a Saturday. With an emphasis of fun and everyone playing the game, much fun has been had by all involved and it is hoped that the players will go on to play for the u11's and upwards in the Galway District League in the coming years. The teams in the academy often play in blitz's organised by local clubs during the course of the academy season.
