The Copa Indonesia 2009 Final[1] was an football match which was played on Sunday, 28 June 2009. It was the 4th final of the Piala Indonesia. The match was played at the Jakabaring Stadium in Palembang and was contested by Sriwijaya FC of Palembang and Persipura Jayapura from Papua. For Sriwijaya this was the second appearance in the final of the Piala Indonesia tournament, after winning the Piala Indonesia final in 20077. For Persipura this was the third appearance in the final of the Piala Indonesia tournament, after consecutive Piala Indonesia finals in 2006 and 2007, but had lost both.

The winners entered the qualifying play-off of the 2010 AFC Champions League.

Sriwijaya won the championship after Persipura walked off to protest the officiating.
