Coopers Edge is a new build suburb, situated in Brockworth, between the city of Gloucester and the town of Cheltenham. Building began in 2008 and the estate, at the foot of Coopers Hill, is as yet unfinished.

Transport
The area has excellent road transport links, it is situated less than 2 miles from the M5 motorway and the A419 which leads to Swindon and connects to the A40 to Oxford. There is also a regular bus service into the city centre.
Location
Coopers Edge is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with easy access to a network of footpaths and bridleways. There are due to be large designated areas of public open space, with special efforts being made to preserve the natural habitat of the wildlife in the area.
Building styles
The area has a variety of styles of property from various building contractors. Most of the buildings are stylish modern buildings however there are some more traditional mock Regency style town houses and some more subtle modern family homes. Prices currently range from £155,000 for a small entry level apartment up to £450,000 for an averaged sized family home. (April 2009)
Local area
Coopers Edge is a short walk from a large superstore, business park and the newly developed Whittle Square, consisting of various retail outlets, a pub/restaurant and Health & Fitness centre.
Community
There is a Coopers Edge Community Group which organises event such as walks, fetes, and is in the process of establishing a temporary community centre.
Future plans
A primary school is currently under construction and due to open in September 2011. There are also plans for a general store, childrens play areas and 2-3 lakes.
