Conrad Electronic UK Ltd is a daughter company of Conrad Electronic Linz (Austria). Conrad Electronic was founded back in 1923, by Max Conrad in Germany. In 1973 his son Klaus Conrad ( http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klaus_Conrad_(Unternehmer) ) became General Director of Conrad Electronic AG. In turn, in 1997, his son Werner Conrad became General Director of Conrad Electronic. Apart from its headquarters in Germany and Conrad Electronic UK, there are more companies across Europe, in The Netherlands, Belgium, England, France, Austria, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland, and partnerships with companies in Hungary, Poland, Slovenia and Czech Republic. Furthermore Conrad is active in Russia and China. To provide these companies with a deep and broad assortment, Conrad has its own purchase centre in Hong Kong and a central warehouse in Germany.
