Pontiac, Michigan
BUS US 24Location: Pontiac, Michigan BUS US 24 is a 2.09 mi[1] (3.36 km) business route running in Pontiac. It was designated in 1986 as a business route of US 24.
Previous to the 1986 truncation of US 10 to Bay City, it was BUS US 10. BUS US 24 was first a business route of US 10 in 1961 when US 10 was relocated out of downtown Pontiac. In 1970, when US 10 was transferred off Woodward Avenue to the Lodge Freeway, the section of Square Lake Rd. that carried US 10 was transferred to BUS US 10 so that the business route would remain a complete loop back to US 10.
The northern terminus of BUS US 24 is at the intersection with US 24 and Dixie Highway northwest of Pontiac. The southern terminus is at the intersection with US 24 and Square Lake Rd. south of Pontiac.
Erie, Michigan
CONN US 24Location: Erie, Michigan CONN US 24 is a 3.63 mi (5.84 km)[1] connector route running near Erie, Michigan. It connects I-75 with US 24. It connects with CONN M-125 at I-75 as well. It was formed on June 17, 1957.[1]. Internally to MDOT this route is known as the Connector 75 and Connector 125.[2]
The western terminus of CONN US 24 is at US 24 west of Erie. The eastern terminus is at I-75 approximately two miles north of the Ohio state line.
Taylor, Michigan
CONN US 24Location: Taylor, Michigan CONN US 24 is a 1.53 mi (2.46 km) [1]connector route running near Taylor, Michigan. It connects I-75 with US 24. It is a former routing of I-75 before the completion of I-75 northeasterly from Taylor. It is freeway for the entire route. It was formed on December 16, 1963.[1] Internally to MDOT this is known as Connector 240.[2]
The western terminus of CONN US 24 is at US 24 in Taylor. The eastern terminus is at I-75 exit 35.
Woodhaven, Michigan
CONN US 24Location: Woodhaven, Michigan US 24 Connector is a 2.00 mi (3.23 km)[3]connector route running near Woodhaven, Michigan, in the United States. It connects I-75 with US 24 via Dix-Toledo Road. It is a former routing of US 25 before the decommissioning of US 25 in Michigan in 1973.[1] Internally to MDOT this is known as Connector 24.[2]
The eastern terminus is at I-75 exit 34.
In 2008, the western terminus was rerouted to end in a new T-intersection with Telegraph Road (US-24) between West and Carter roads.[4] which replaced a complicated set of at-grade intersections with West Road and Telegraph Road.
