Cranbrook School in 1968. He then graduated fromYale University after studying drama and literature. After a stint waiting tables atMax's Kansas City and acting off-Broadway inNew York , Gordon moved to the Bay Area where he received anMBA fromStanford in 1978, after turning down an offer from NYU's drama department.After a stint as an account executive at an advertising firm,
Ogilvy and Mather , Gordon was one of the earliest EA employees, starting off in 1982 working as the Marketing department.In 2005, Gordon took a faculty chair position at the University of Southern California's Interactive Media Division after EA invested in the fledgling program.
Gordon stands nearly 6'3" tall and enjoys
skiing andmountain biking . He is married and the father of two daughters, Chloe and Allegra.In a recent presentation given to students of games related courses from various UK universities at the London science museum, he revealed that his favorite computer game is World of Warcraft.
