He is best known as the stunt coordinator for the Star Wars prequels. When he was in his teens he ran away from military school to join the circus and performed horse stunts. He left the circus at 18, to perform stunt work in films.[1]
He had a minor role in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith as Jedi Master Cin Drallig ("Nic Gillard" spelled backwards) and was Mark Hamill's first choice as his stunt double for Return of the Jedi. Among his movie credits are Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Sleepy Hollow, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
